American international Sergino Dest is making headlines in Spain with reports claiming that Barcelona are interested in his services.
Spanish publication report that Barcelona are ready to make a bid for the youngster who was recently named as Ajax‘s Talent of the Year; Matthijs De Ligt and Christian Eriksen are previous recipients of the accolade.
Dest will cost his suitors €20m and it is believed that the La Liga giants will be willing to meet the asking price.
However, Barcelona already have three right-backs in the form of Nelson Semedo, Sergi Roberto and Moussa Wague; it would be interesting to see where he would fit if the club secures the deal.
Dest has scored two goals and provided six assists in 36 appearances across all competitions this season.
