Roberto firmino will be a welcome development when he finally move in to Barcelona, he has been an outstanding player when it comes to front player. Firmino will be a total boost up when he joins the like of messi and Griezmann, in the front.
Barcelona should abandon their attempts to sign Lautaro Martinez and bring in Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino instead.
That’s the advice from the Catalan club’s former graduate Bojan Krkic, who believes the Brazilian would be a better fit than Martinez.
The Argentinian striker, 22, has scored 16 goals in all competitions for the Nerazzurri but Bojan – now at Montreal Impact – says Firmino is more suited to their style of play.
“Inter don’t usually take the initiative and that makes me think that Lautaro could occupy an area at Barca that is naturally not his. [That is] something that would certainly be a shame,” he told Sport.
“If you allow me a name, I would bet more on Firmino: a link player, with a lot of presence and great mobility.
“I do not intend that this reflection be interpreted as a refusal to sign the Argentine, but I understand that his profile must be analysed very well because it would be unforgivable that, as happened with Griezmann, we sign a striker to put him on the wing and then complain that it doesn’t work.”
Nevertheless Liverpool will not easily give out there top striker on plater of Gold. There most be a big price tag placed on him.
