As the day go on the Italian club’s financial situation is getting worse. Juventus director are trying to find the best solution to avoid financial ruin.
So they have asked Cristiano Ronaldo to lower his salary for the club’s survival, Cristiano accepted to lower his salary by 11 million dollars.
Other player also agreed to this measure allowing the club to save 98 million dollar in total but unfortunately this gesture won’t be enough to save Juventus
According to Italian newspaper, Juventus economic model doesn’t allow for it to be stable without money coming in from ticket sales and TV rights. This means it’s very likely that the old lady will be running a deficit at the end of the season which is why some players will be sold.
The club director reckoned that Cristiano Ronaldo leaving could be for the best. The 35 year old Portuguese star still has a very significant market value of 82 million dollars.
Cristiano Ronaldo also has a salary which takes up a large part of club’s payroll which is 35 million dollars a year.
The other solution could be sacrifice three player in CR7 place. Players like Dybala, De ligt and Douglas Costa but these players are young and will help Juventus to get back on its feet financially.
Cristiano Ronaldo is a man who like a challenge, he will have absolutely no fear of going elsewhere but the problem is all the big Europa clubs are being impacted by Coronavirus.
